Infant Learning Lab & Social Kids Lab
Thanks for your interest in having your children participate in studies with the Social Kids Lab and the Infant Learning Lab! Let us tell you a little more information about our studies.
We are looking for families with children between the ages of 6 months and 8 years to participate in online studies about how infants and children learn language and come to understand the social world. Study participation involves a one-time Zoom call for your child with either the Infant Learning Lab or the Social Kids Lab.
Online study sessions take approximately 30 minutes per child. Infants who participate will sit on your lap during the study and will listen to sounds and view images on a computer monitor, while older children will view images and be asked simple questions.
Sessions can be conveniently scheduled online, and evening and weekend appointments are available. Also, families will receive a thank you gift via email for participating!
If you have any questions or want to receive more information, please contact the Infant Learning Lab team at babies@waisman.wisc.edu or the Social Kids Lab team at socialkidslab@psych.wisc.edu. You can also check out the websites for our labs here and here.
